I cannot recommend Steve and Viewpoint Realty enough. Steve helped us purchase a new home and sell our old home within just a few months. He was so patient with us while we searched for the perfect home for our family. He made sure he walked us through the entire process and answered every question we had. We recently- and very quickly sold our Crystal Lake home with the professionalism and knowledge of Steve Scheppe. Members of my family have used him 3 times throughout the years for properties in the Grand Traverse Region. Initially there was concern because of the fact that he was not a locally located real estate agent in our immediate area. That concern was proven moot. He is the most professional, detail-oriented real estate professional we have ever used. His attention to detail and the particular way he sells his clients homes is second to none. He does a massive amount of research to "right price" your home. Our goal was not to sit around for a year with an overpriced home, waiting to slowly bring the price down over time. With his suggestion, we priced the home correctly to achieve our goals of getting the money we were looking for... with the caveat that we had already started our new life outside of the state. Bingo. It sold immediately for full price with a full price backup offer. This may not happen for everyone but it happened for us. I can only speak to the quick turnkey sale we realized. We are eternally grateful to Steve and his whole team who also proved to be exceptional. (Our home was presented with gorgeous photography and a perfect sales piece.) If you are looking for an outstanding agent anywhere in the greater Grand Traverse and surrounding region, Steve is your man. We had such a great experience that I wish I had more property to sell with this extraordinary agent. Steve was great to work with. He helped my Realtor from downstate and I out a lot. He became my Realtor north via referral. He helped me look at some great houses and helped with my process for offering and closing. Helped with the processing, everything up north, answered all my questions for things in the area, and has been very helpful with my move north.
