In 2019 my wife and I sold our summer home, figuring we would live in our Naples, Florida home year round. We love Naples but it is really hot in the summer months. In May, 2020 we started researching places where we might like to summer. Finally, deciding the Traverse City area met most if not all of the points on our place to live checklist. We looked for an agent with market knowledge, at least ten years real estate experience, and, most importantly, could/would accommodate our our time frame. We wanted to come for five days, view some lake properties, and buy a home. So, we needed someone who could dedicate the time to help us

Steve had what we were looking for. Born and raised in the area, he certainly knew the lakes; from water quality to any special conditions of the lakes, plus the value of location on the lakes. Not only has he been in the real estate business for more than ten years, he is also a savvy real estate investor. His practical experience translates into excellent advice.

He completely committed to our timeline, while not ignoring his other clients. Steve spent the time required to show us multiple lake properties and wrote multiple offers, none of which were accepted, not because of Steve but because of the value of our offer. Since we didn't complete a deal for a lake house, we threw Steve a curve and changed our strategy. We decided to find an interim house, at a lower cost, thinking to spend a year or two and then find the lake house we wanted.

Steve worked just as hard on the new strategy as the original even though the financial reward would be less. We looked at several less expensive places and finally made an offer that was accepted. We returned to Naples and Steve continued to work for us, helping the details of the property and expediting the closing. A couple of weeks after the closing, Steve is still helping us with a few things.
